Wee Chow Hou
Founder & Governing Council Member
Professor Wee is Head of the Marketing Division at the Nanyang Business School and currently oversees the running of ACI as a member of its governing council.
He has over 230 publications in various international, regional and local journals; has written several best-selling books and is best known for his works on applying Sun Zi Bingfa and other Chinese classics to modern business strategies and practices.
He is currently a member of the editorial board of the Thunderbird International Business Review (USA), Global Business and Organizational Excellence (USA), China Business Review (China) and Journal of Management (Taiwan). He has conducted executive training for over 250 major organizations around the world.
Professor Wee also sits on several boards of publicly listed companies in Singapore, and is a member of various advisory boards locally and internationally.
Lewis Lim Ph.D
Professor Lim is an Associate Professor of Marketing Practice at Nanyang Business School. Prior to joining academia, he worked in the steel and consumer electronics industries handling international sales and channel development. Professor Lim conducts research and teaches courses on a range of marketing topics including marketing innovation, pricing management, and international marketing strategy.
Gemma Calvert DPhil CPsychol FRSA
Director for Research & Development
Gemma Calvert is a Professor of Marketing at Nanyang Business School and an internationally renowned cognitive neuroscientist and a leading pioneer in the field of neuromarketing. She has a DPhil in Neuroscience from the University of Oxford and is an accredited Chartered Psychologist. Her research interests include consumer neuroscience, multisensory integration and sensory branding, as well as cross-cultural influences on behaviour.
As the co-founder of Neurosense – one of the world’s first neuromarketing companies – Professor Calvert has undertaken research and consulted for many of the world’s leading multinational companies including Unilever, Procter & Gamble, Omnicom, L’Oreal, Ford, GSK, Kimberly Clark, Coach, Sky, Viacom, BBC, De Beers, Pepsi-co and Yum. Her research on the power of the implicit brain has been widely covered in the international press and television media, including Time, Newsweek, The Economist, The Straits Times, CBS 60 Minutes, the BBC World Service, BBC3 Series on Secrets of the Superbrands, BBC Radio 4 and several worldwide documentaries on the brain in business.
Chung Tuck Siong Ph.D
Assistant Research and Development Director
Professor Tuck Siong is an Assistant Professor in Nanyang Business School’s Division of Marketing and International Business; his research expertise spans the areas of services and digital marketing. An experienced Services Marketing lecturer, he is now teaching Market Relationships at the Nanyang Business School. He also has six years of industry work experience in both the service and goods industry. At Unilever, he was a manager in the areas of market development, key account management, and logistics covering both domestic and regional markets.
Dolly oversees administration at ACI and is responsible for human resources, financial planning, events and marketing. She also supports the Business Development initiatives of the Institute. Upon completing her Masters from the Nanyang Business School, NTU, Dolly served in the Dean’s Office for several years before becoming Head of the NBS Undergraduate Programmes Office. She brings with her to the ACI a wealth of experience in administration and management within the University sector.
Associate Director, Programmes Development
Ramona is responsible for the management and administration of our MSc in Marketing and Consumer Insight and oversees the marketing and communications for all of NBS’s graduate programmes. She is a seasoned administrator with over 30 years of experience in the premier Singapore graduate and executive education industry.
Associate Director, Business Development and Project Management
Jennifer is responsible for business development for our research and consulting projects and Executive Education . She works closely with the Research Team, overseeing projects that are undertaken for clients. Jennifer also manages day-to-day client liaison for project sponsorship opportunities. Jennifer holds a Master of Science in Marketing from City University of New York. Jennifer brings with her a wealth of experience as senior regional sales, marketing and business development roles in medical device MNCs with global presence such as Zimmer Biomet, Stryker and B Braun; as well as setting up and managing SME start-ups in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia for the past 16 years.
Assistant Director, Business Development
Wendy is responsible for the business development of executive education programmes and events organised by the institute. Upon graduating from Nanyang Business School, NTU, Wendy has been working in the trade conference and exhibition event industry, managing high profile events – APEC, ASEAN level trade conferences and the Shanghai World Exposition. Having worked in China and Europe, Wendy brings with her over ten years of international events business development, marketing and consulting experience.
